WNiFe Alloy

Tungsten-nickel iron is an alloy based on tungsten with added elements of nickel and iron. It is a three-phase alloy. Its specific gravity is generally 17.0~18.5, and it has a series of excellent properties, such as large specific gravity, high strength, strong radiation absorption ability, large thermal conductivity, small thermal expansion coefficient, good electrical conductivity, good weldability and processability, etc.

Ferro-tungsten-nickel alloy is a tungsten-based alloy with tungsten as the hard phase and nickel and iron as the bonding phase. The English name is Ferro-tungsten-nickel alloy. The mechanical properties of different grades of tungsten-nickel-iron alloys are also different. Generally, as the tungsten content increases, the density, hardness and tensile strength of the alloy increase, while the elongation decreases.

Tungsten nickel-iron alloy is widely used, including making various counterweights, shielding parts, military materials and electrical components, such as gyroscope rotors for spacecraft, armor-piercing projectile cores, switch contacts and automobile crankshafts.
